Editorial standards
How the One Piece News desk works.
- Primary sources first
- Rules changes, ban lists, release dates and product details come from Bandai's official ONE PIECE CARD GAME sites (EN and JP) and are linked in every article. Leaks are labeled as leaks and attributed to where they surfaced.
- Prices carry a date
- Any price is a market price on the day it was checked, named by source (TCGplayer market price, DeckTradr, or a recorded sale on our own shows). We do not publish predictions as facts.
- Educational, not promotional
- News articles explain what changed and what it means. They do not pitch products. Shop links on the page are labeled and sit outside the article body.
- First-hand data is labeled
- When we cite what sold on our own shows or what we paid, we say so. It is one shop's data, not the market.
- Style
- AP style: sentence-case headlines, numerals for 10 and up, month abbreviations with specific dates, no Oxford comma, attribution with "said".
- Corrections
- Errors are fixed in place with an Updated date on the article. Material corrections get a note at the end of the piece. Email hello@liquidpixelz.io.
- Who writes it
- Articles are written by Liquid, the owner of Liquid Pixelz TCG LLC, who buys, grades and sells One Piece cards every day. Drafting uses software tools; every fact is checked against the linked sources before publishing.
